Hip-hop and music in general has always been a constant source of Urgent Genius in the past. Nothing seems to convey the importance and passion of an issue quite like a musical number. Not to mention it can also be delivered to others in a timely fashion. With that in mind this idea could be very exciting as it will allow anyone with a ‘beef’ to get involved.
Toyota UK and rap music have never been synonymous in the past but that is now set to change with the recent launch of their new Facebook app.
Users are asked to air their grievances using no more than 40 characters with the best entries turning into a video featuring animated rapper Gadget and his sidekick puppet Slick. This will be aired during a 72-hour social media event.
Twitter users can follow the action using the hashtap #OutsmartLIVE and with a dedicated Facebook group of 11,000 there is some potential for this to gather some interest and discussion as it gains momentum.
